Trash The Dress
So here goes nothing... This is my first post that is not family, friends, or a hobby. This was a real shoot. SCARY!! My friend Jill from work and I got talking one day and my love for photography got brought up. She told me about her friend Lana and how she was really talented and shared the same passion for becoming a photographer. I decided to e-mail Lana with a few questions, and before I knew it we were talking daily and going back and forth with thoughts, feelings, and issues that we have come across. Another huge thing we share is our love for Jasmine Star. Lana was awesome enough to invite me to come to a Trash the Dress Shoot with her in Northampton this past Wednesday. I would be lying if I said that I was not nervous. Lana has tons of experience and all the equipment that you could ever want and here I am showing up with my starter kit equipment. Anyway Lana rocked the shoot and taught me so much. It was hotter than you know what that day, and Jess (the model) was such an amazing trooper. I think she had just as much fun as Lana and I did. When I got home and went through my images I was pretty happy with what I saw considering it was my first shoot. THEN tonight I went and looked at Lana's page and was blown away. Hey what can I say... Practice makes perfect, and I have a ton of practicing to do, but I cant wait!! Check out Lana's pictures!!!!!!!
I HAD to try some fire escape poses. I saw them on Rachel Buckleys blog and knew that I needed some of that!

Thanks for inviting me Lana, and thanks for being such a great model Jess!
